Dobromir Todorov brings over three decades of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of IT — from low-level systems development in assembly language through to enterprise-scale infrastructure architecture and security design.

His career spans engagements with major organisations in telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and government. Projects have ranged from Voice-over-IP and contact centre platforms to public key infrastructure, SSL termination, and large-scale identity management.

Based in Europe, Dobromir has delivered solutions for enterprises across the United Kingdom, continental Europe, the United States, India, the Philippines, and China.

Dobromir holds an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria (2000). His professional certifications chart a course through the evolution of enterprise IT security: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer on Windows NT 3.51 (1997), MCSE:Security and MCSE:Messaging (2002), Cisco CCNA (2001) and CCIE Routing & Switching #10982 (2003), and (ISC)² CISSP (2005). He also served as a Subject Matter Expert for the original CompTIA Security+ examination, earning him "exam grandfather" status.

Beyond architecture and delivery, Dobromir is an accomplished technical trainer. A Microsoft Certified Trainer since 1996, he has delivered a wide range of official curriculum courses, bespoke training programmes, and conference presentations on security, networking, and project management.

When not dissecting authentication protocols, Dobromir can be found exploring philosophy, learning languages, following rugby, or hunting down good food. He lives in Europe with his wife and two children.
